UK Cornhole League: Season 3 Updates and Registration Now Open

The UK Cornhole League is excited to share the latest updates as we continue our mission to grow and support the cornhole community across the country.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working diligently to create a sustainable platform for players at all levels, ensuring the league fosters competitive play while also engaging new players and clubs to join the sport.

As we prepare for our first full season as league directors, we recognize the importance of laying the foundation for a strong future. The 2024/2025 UKCL Season 3 will run from October to June, and we’re thrilled to announce that registrations are now open for Qualifier 1, taking place in Ashby De La Zouch on October 12th. Those wishing to compete can sign up right here.

The complete event calendar, which will include new venues and a return to Bury St Edmunds, will be released soon.

Significant changes have also been made to the ranking system for this upcoming season. Rankings will now be calculated on a season-by-season basis, eliminating the previous two-year order of merit. Qualifying for the Season Finale National Championship will include automatic entry for winners of any qualifier or open event, with additional spots filled based on the rankings table leading up to the final event. For players who do not qualify for the National Championship, a Tier 2 event will still be available.

In addition, the process for earning UKCL Pro status has been updated. The top 10 players with the most ranking points at the end of Season 3 will earn Pro status, which will remain valid for the next two seasons. This Pro designation will be based entirely on points earned during Season 3.

The UK Cornhole League is focused on expanding the sport from the grassroots level by supporting new clubs and working closely with local communities and schools. With a shared passion and spirit of inclusivity, we are confident that together we can continue to grow the game of cornhole across the UK, one step at a time.
